Our four well-seasoned musicians have decades of combined experience, and three of them are gifted vocalists delivering rich three-part harmonies that set us apart from the rest. From soulful ballads that stir the heart to electrifying rock anthems that fill the dance floor, we take every audience on a musical journey they won’t want to end.

Meet the Band
Jesse Perez – Guitar, Vocals
A seasoned guitarist and singer with over 30 years in the music industry, Jesse is known for his versatility and collaborations with numerous local artists. His soulful voice and mastery of multiple genres have captivated audiences everywhere, making him a respected figure in the regional music community.
Alex Evans – Bass, Vocals
A highly skilled bassist and vocalist, Alex refined his craft at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. With over 30 years of consistent playing and performances with successful bands, Alex is known for his technical skill, stage presence, and ability to lock in a groove that drives the music forward.
Jeff Rio – Drums
With over 40 years of drumming experience, Jeff’s impeccable timing and rhythmic versatility keep every performance tight and dynamic. He has collaborated with numerous artists across genres, earning a reputation as a drummer who can elevate any musical project with precision and style.
Chris Valera – Keys, Vocals
An extraordinary keyboardist and vocalist, Chris is recognized not only for his musical mastery but also for his signature bowler hat. With 15 years in the music business, he is the driving force behind Angry Piano Production, his own music production company. His creative approach to both keys and vocals adds a distinctive flavor to Smoke & Mirrors’ sound.
